I played covers most of my life until I discovered songwriting in 2012! Oh, I knew it existed before then but I had never given it a try. Once I started writing my own songs I rarely listen to anything else! When I start to get tired of them, I write some more!!

• I live in the Chicago area, previously from the San Francisco Bay area and originally from western Kentucky!
• I write a lot of Americana/folk/country type songs featuring acoustic guitar, banjo, fiddle, mandolin, resonator, etc.
• I enjoy rock a lot and I am trying to write in a wide range of genres just to see what I like!
• I record mostly with a Zoom H4n handheld digital recorder using its multi-track mode so I can lay down multiple tracks.
• I use Reaper on Windows for my DAW.
• This is my 9th 50/90 Songwriting Challenge and earlier this year I participated in my 9th FAWM!
