When I first heard about 50/90 my initial reaction was NO WAY IN HELL. 50 songs just seemed intimidating and logistically impossible. But then I realised so many brilliant FAWMers also hang out here (I've done FAWM for the past two years), and the opportunity of an extra three months listening to and swapping ideas with y'all is too good to pass up. So here I am. Not sure I'll get to 50, but I'm sure I'll enjoy the journey, and look forward to hearing a load of great new songs from everyone

A bit of background:

I'm a South London-based singer-songwriter.

I grew up listening to a mixture of Billy Joel, Queen and The Beatles, more or less in that order. In my early twenties, I discovered blues music and Randy Newman - two more important influences.

Over the years, I've written songs about everything from fairytales gone sour to the footballer Thierry Henry. The odd love song too.
