Couldn't resist one final skirmish for this year's 50/90.
This is what came to mind for me regarding the "Autumn" skirmish.
Well suited theme in my neck of the woods. The sky's an orangy glow (at the moment I post this lol) evening-dinner time EST and the humidity is low, the air is clear, sky is blue and nature is at her best and has been from dawn to dusk for the past several days and is expected to be this way again tomorrow.

What a great hook! And the vivid details have such a sensory appeal - I can feel the crisp fall air, hear the leaves crunch, see the blue skies and smell the pumpkin and apples. Beautifully written!
"At dusk the sky's an orange torch" is such a vivid line. Love all the details you've woven in here, with the hot apple cider, pumpkin picking, and trick or treating. Glad you could join us for one last feast!

The chorus is especially strong. The Autumnal visuals are wonderful.
Love the title and all the tastes, smells, feelings. One of my favorite seasons along with Spring. Yeah, I'm winding down also and taking a songwriting break to do some other hobbies. I'm sort of ADHD and need to move my attention away to another creative pursuit for a while, like art and my musicial instruments. Enjoyed all your songs this year, you had some really nice writes with great imagry and poetry also. Hope to see you again next year. I also usually try to do FAWM in the month of February, so hope to circle back then.
