I had "Sweetest Plans" in my stock of potential titles from the Titular Muse and it seemed a perfect fit for @Roddy's prompt. Sometimes things we didn't see coming can be better than what we'd originally planned!

What a great set of lyrics. This is a roller coaster of a story, so much being told here in such a moving way. It really sings off the page. Great work especially for a skirmish.
