SuperSkirmish I

WHAT: We will have a one hour skirmish to write to a prompt.*

Since it's been 2-for-1 day with prompts around here, I decided to combine this skirmish with our Tuesday Night Music Club challenge of "frying pan/ice". Just a fun little pop tune about dysfunctional relationships.
Lyrics:

Nice write on here Rayna. I like what you've done with balancing the lyrics, and bringing the frying pan and ice metaphors in different verses. Good job.
I like starting with the chorus, and it's a strong one. I had trouble with the prompt but you made it seem so appropriate to use it in a relationship song. I do not think I could have done that.
I really like the structure of this write with the hook always circling back around and remaining the prominent feature. As writers we(I use we in the loosest terms here, I haven't been writing much lately, and have never considered myself a lyrisict) tend to get too wordy, though that's strictly a matter of taste and subjectivity as it all is. Coming from mostly a live music background who the hell hears the lyrics in a loud venue when we tend to sweat and toil over each word, I know I never do

This is great, Rayna! Such a strong first verse, I loved the beginning and end: "You're hot as a frying pan / Then cold as ice / All I know is that you're still / My favorite vice". Amazing take on the prompt, I love it!
