Liner Notes:

A friend, Marion Doerflinger, came over back in June and gave me a lyric. Today he finally made it back (after several failed attempts) and we nailed down the final version. So started before 50/90 but finished during.

Roland R-05 handheld recorder
Yairi DY-46 acoustic guitar

Lyrics:

I lost a love as a young man
Now I"m an old man in love again
If you never lose your faith in love
You can find that special friend

She's my sweet ol' lady
And I'm her crazy old man
Sometimes this chaotic world's
Not too hard to understand

I keep her picture in my pocket
Helps me smile when I'm alone
Lost a love when I was younger
Now a sweeter love is known

I keep her smile in my heart
A treasure chest where I lock it
I feel our love when we're apart
'Cause her picture is in my pocket

I thought that I had found true love
Back in the days of my youth
But this old folk love is sweeter
I've finally found my truth

I keep her picture in my pocket
Helps me smile when I'm alone
Lost a love when I was younger
Now a sweeter love is known

I keep her smile in my heart
A treasure chest where I lock it
I feel our love when we're apart
'Cause her picture is in my pocket
