Liner Notes:

A different take for a song I did on FAWM, so, it's a mutant, a radioactive variant, let it infect you.

Lyrics:

Ashes Of A Bright Tomorrow

In this gruesome hour

All religion fades away

Mankind seems left alone with the devices it creates

Aghast eyes abounding wishing it was just a dream

Don't get to weep when horrors materialize

Cities soaring up in smoke the nightmare is real

In light of hour truest hearts, can you tell fact from fiction?

The future is this grim light spread across the peach horizon leaving our shadows forms against the walls, burned forever...

Ah

In the darkest hour, even the dawn is dimmed away

Madness is unleashed we rest assured we are one, ignorance makes us blind

Atoms fuse and engineer the rumble that brings the silence

The future is this grim light spread across the peach horizon leaving our shadows forms against the walls, burned forever, forever!

Mothers, children, Father what have we done?

We should know by now each wound we inflict is in ourselves!

The future is this grim light spread across the peach horizon leaving our shadows forms against the walls, burned forever, forever!

love the atmosphere of this. that insistent quavers motif sounds like a demented ektara... wow love the break for a serene indian flavoured moment then whack in double hard with the rock sounds. great song

Gothic and dramatic, as always! The stop/start section at the end is really cool.

Your voice dominates the mix, which of course is as it should be, but the backing music seems much thinner than usual, and it's all in the high mids around 3 kHz; the bass below 250 Hz has disappeared completely and the drums have lost their punch. Have you changed how you record stuff?

Really excellent lyrics.
A great requiem for humanity destroyed in a nuclear war.
The wood flute is an inspired choice for the solo bits.
I agree with HFO here; maybe a bit more bass on the bottom end would really push this over the top.
So much ominous energy here.
Another excellent tune from you.

you poumd out the warnings in a hear of urgency, will they listen in time or perish forever from this earth? for a moment there is hope, followed by complete obliteration.

Very intense, the flute adds a nice touch to this one, those guitar strums sound like an urgent call to action, really liked the breakdown before the ending!
