Liner Notes:

As of now this will be the last 12 bar blues, but I could always sneak another one in under the wire.

I’m kinda tired of this. I waffled on whether to leave the huge ending in place or cut it out. During the mixing alone I probably changed my mind 11 times. It’s there for now. It might be gone in a subsequent remix. Who knows.

The guitars are all my Gibson Les Paul Standard 50s. The rhythm used a Chicago Stompworks Blooze Maker into a Ryra The Klone into a Fender Bassbreaker 15. The leads before the swing section at the end used a Klon KTR into a Keeley D&M Drive into a Wampler Faux Tape Echo into a Vox AC15. The leads at the end used a Wren and Cuff Tri Pi 70 into a Klon KTR into a Vox AC15.

Verse 1
Its a little sometimes true
can you see it, can you feel it
Ancient history

So tell me what to do
It all comes down to you
I will make the call give your input
Let me know what you need

Verse 2
It’s a mystery to me
Ever reading, hidden meaning
Come along with me

I haven’t got a clue
There’s so much I don’t know
What can you do?

Please keep your comments respectful, honest, and constructive. Please focus on the song and not the demo.

You’ve really nailed that 70s blues rock vibe - kind of Allman Brothers-y, great groove to it. And in that context the extended guitar solos are just right, I’d definitely keep them in! Love that swing section too, very authentic and mixes things up nicely. Enjoyed your gear rundown in the liner notes immensely!
