THEME/TITLE: "BELOVED" - Write about a beloved partner, wife, hubbie, boyfriend, pet, grandma. You can make it tender and loving, or silly and fun, or if you've been jilted by said beloved!
We had a 2-hour time window for this one, though I went about 15 minutes over. My take on the prompt was inspired by the events of a recent gaming session with my friends. Written from the perspective of my character who very much appreciates the numerical bonuses he gets from working together with another character in combat (called "flanking"), which is definitely totally not related to how he feels about that character as a person what are you talking about.

This is a perfect pill of pop goodness. The chorus is hilarious and sweet, which is I think the intended effect so well done. The chords are great - the little stumble before whichever chorus is perfect and a keeper. Its great.
Great use of a the prompt, it's clever, fun and really catchy. You wouldn't think "+20 flanking bonus" could be catchy but by the end I was singing along with you. I love the delivery and the guitar, this is an impressive song and even more so in 2 hours. Very nice work!
Aw man...this makes me really miss my D&D sessions with my friends. We're all pretty much novices and were just fumbling our way through campaigns, and there were only 3 of us, but we had tons of fun.
