Liner Notes:

Wednesday skirmish. Prompt: Hurricane - be it Fred, Grace, or Henri, the tropics are brewing with action this time of year!

I chose none of the above lol, and wrote about a metaphorical hurricane.

Lyrics:

V1:
Rough seas
High winds
Torn trees
And too many sins

That's how
Life seems
Then and now
But not in my dreams

CH:
You and me
We'll alway be
Like a Hurricane
Can't you see
We make such debris
We're Like a Hurricane

V2:
Storm's eye
Calming smile
Eyes dry
Lasts for awhile

Then comes
The other side
Beating drums
Taken in stride

CH:
You and me
We'll alway be
Like a Hurricane
Can't you see
We make such debris
We're Like a Hurricane

Reminded me of a girl I once knew except I likened us to a tornado when together but the sentiment was and is the same. Thankfully, it's all past tense now.
I can relate to this one. Good ideas for your song.

"We make such debris/We're Like a Hurricane" - such a good line! I'm glad you took a metaphorical turn on this prompt! This is so true of some relationships and the lyrics work very well. Thanks for participating!

Like the calm after the storm, cleaning up the debris. Lovely sound with voice and piano. Enjoyed this.
