Sunday skirmish: Color, choose any color

clearly I could not choose one…

Happy to have a collaborator bring this to life

Lyrics:

Colors of Us

V1
magenta maladies
tangerine tragedies
vermillion vanities
cerulean calamities
spectral overtones
hues of thoughts
shades of time
love once mine

C
some find rainbows
or palettes of golds
others see clouds
and prisms of doubts

palettes and prisms
spectrums and tones
color all love
that we have known

V2
daffodil dualities
camouflage casualties
raspberry realities
firebrick fatalities
tonal nuances
tints of moods
trends of minds
love once mine

C
some find rainbows
or palettes of golds
others see clouds
and prisms of doubts

palettes and prisms
spectrums and tones
color all love
that we have known

B
dark and deep
rich and robust
you saw so many
dark shadows in
colors…
colors of us

C
some find rainbows
or palettes of golds
others see clouds
and prisms of doubts

palettes and prisms
spectrums and tones
color all love
that we have known

Yup, I think you got all of the colors in there! It reminds my of the Pixar film "Joy" where all the feelings and memories had their own color, with the more faded tones slipping away. Nice skirmish!

Excellent work for a skirmish or for any time at all. The alliterative colours lines are very creative. PS I had to look up 'cerulean' - a new word for me. I've read the lyrics three times now and each one reveals more depths. Very good writing indeed.

That 2nd verse is a-maz-ing! "daffodil dualities" literally knocked me upside the head. Nicely rhythmic also.

Excellent skirmish writing, or actually any writing! So many wonderful uses of alliteration and everything flows very rhythmically. Excellent title, and I think I'm getting that "different strokes for different folks" meaning? Excellent writing!

I like it. Has a nice upbeat n fast rhythmic bounce in my mind.

Great words and a couple of new colours there for me. Great chorus! Nice skirmish.

Wow, you did use just about all the colors but it works really nicely. There's a surreal feeling to this that works nicely. Very nice skirmish!
