Liner Notes:
while i am working on the 4 or 5 cohenesque songs i am throwing in the odd other one well out of my comfort zone! This is one of those -a lot of work required on this but at least i got the instruments ok! and it was a bit of fun doing something i dont do these days, my voice struggles in this range and style but hey its a demo
Lyrics:
Out on the freeway driving up a storm
Radio blaring don’t wanna conform
Never ever ever felt so free
Sure feels like freedom to me
Freedom from boredom freedom chains
Freedom to break from these tight reigns
Freedom from worries freedom from pain
Freedom from the small stuff id do it again
Take away by the dashboard light
Couple of drinks to make it alright
Rev up the engine get back in gear
Watching my worries all just disappear
Freedom from boredom freedom chains
Freedom to break from these tight reigns
Freedom from worries freedom from pain
Freedom from the small stuff id do it again
Motor running no chance of stalling
Radio singing Tom petty “free fallin”
Into 5th hear that engine roar
Time to even up the score
Freedom from boredom freedom chains
Freedom to break from these tight reigns
Freedom from worries freedom from pain
Freedom from the small stuff id do it again
Please keep your comments respectful, honest, and constructive. Please focus on the song and not the demo.

This has such a great rocking uptempo bluesy groove! There’s a cool 50s vibe rockabilly that has been taken to the next level with the great instrument layers! I absolutely love the cool guitar and that opening is fantastic! Great well-developed lyrics with catchy sing-along chorus feel! Outstanding!!!
the harp is burning up the tar. did you know springsteen didnt have a driving license when he wrote all those car songs? dont know wheher or not he ever learned to drive.
That intro set the tone really well. I like the catchy vibe! It goes well with the hook and theme of the song. Having the "setting" be a car, also brings a carefree attitude, etc.
This is a catchy and fun song, I love what you're going for in this one. That harmonica at the start kicks off the tone of the song perfectly. This would make a great driving song, just blast the music and take off. Nice work!
