Liner Notes:

I had this song written for a while, but I finally got around to recording it

Lyrics:

So, how are you now?
You seem to be doing well
And on what did I miss out?
Feels like you don't wanna tell

I've heard that you graduated
You finished what you started
And I guess in someway
I'm proud that you did
But you're all so ahead of me
And you all have moved on
Now I feel left behind
And all because of this

But anyway, don't mind me
These are just thoughts
From an old friend
You didn't bother to see
From an old friend
You didn't bother to see

You said that you want
For us to keep in touch
It's been two years
And we haven't talked much
You say that you still care
But none of this is fair
'Cause you're never really there
you're never really there

So, anyway, don't mind me
These are just thoughts
From an old friend
You didn't bother to see
From an old friend
You didn't bother to see

So, anyway, don't mind me
These are just thoughts
From an old friend
You're to scared to see
From an old friend
You're to scared to see

Oh, yes, poignant story, delivered with such authenticity. Kinda reminds me of James Blunt. Lovely!

This is really lovely. A sad story, fully told, but it cuts like a knife. I love the skips in the vocal delivery, those little jump back/forward strokes makes you pay attention to the guilt trip being dished.
Thanks again for your kind words on my latest, my friend.
