A songfight title. The optional challenge is part 2 of 4. This follows my previous songfight song (not posted on 50/90 as I did it before July 4th.)
Guitar: Yairi Alverez DY 46
Drums: Superior Drummer
Vocal mic: Superlux S241
Lyrics:
Why did you look the other way
Ignore all of the signs?
How long has he gotten away,
Just how many other times?
You're implying I can't comprehend
You're just misunderstood
You keep saying again and again
We did everything we could
Why did you never say a word,
Or did it happen to you?
All of the rumors that you heard
Well, they must have all been true
You're implying I can't comprehend
You're just misunderstood
You keep saying again and again
We did everything we could

There's a very crowd friendly riff to this one-- I can hear the crowd stomping and clapping to the guitar riff. Strong protest-style lyric too. Nice work TC!
Cool guitar...very catchy. I like how the lyric is confrontational in manner. It goes well with the title/hook. It's general enough to apply to many situations too so very relatable. Well done!
The staccato guitar and percussion are effective here.Definitely feels like part of a connected story.
Fabulous riff and great melody! Love that strum pattern with the chucking and the strong vocals. Really strong song.
This is a bit different musically for you. You could easily add more voices and percs, and presto! Instant protest song. Has a 'f*** you' vibe, which you know I love.
I agree. the riff and melody give this a very Call to Action vibe. Well done.
TC! Bringin' the ruckus year after year. Love the chords here and the thumpin drive. The phrase endings on each line hit really nicely.
Very simple, very effective. Love that kick drum intro (*crowd starts clapping*). Great write!
pretty cool. Simple but effective. Hard hitting, even.
Nice work! I love the sound and the way you explore the struggles of relationship.
