I love the lyrics. Demo link said "not found" tho... great skirmish! Thank you!

I found the demo here https://alonetone.com/Coolparadiso/tracks/statement . Music really sets the mood with such a resigned piano line. Very cool that this is the second one with a media reference.
Love this! That's a great kind of sideways country and western vibe there, -if my lyric was going for early dylan, you were going for Nashville Skyline country-dylan, ha! some really nice lines in there and alot of wisdom in the cracks and crevices of this! nice work!!!
I love the flow into the present (in the written version), like breaking the fourth wall.
This is 70's Nashville(the good bits of it
) all over it all except the lyric has a more truly introspective feel, not just sappy for saps sake, really great stuff!
Cool old country feel with the music and the vocal delivery. The phrasing nails it. Great chorus and hook. More insight than most country tunes.
I like the country bounce contrasting with the regretful tone of the lyrics.
