Liner Notes:

When i was in the corporate world i had a hideaway holiday house! it was good for a break!

Lyrics:

Foot to the floor on a Friday night
Away from the crowds and the din
To a place of calm and serenity
All you hear is the waves rolling in

Set atop the clifftop
With that pretty cove below
Cant think of anywhere
Better i could go

Oh my seaside hideaway
The place for R n R
The place to feel good again
My champagne and caviar

In hard times it keeps me sane
Breathing in that air
To find a secret like this place
Is something very rare

Evening falls i sit and watch
All sounds but waves now cease
A calm comes over me
In this my place of peace

Oh my seaside hideaway
The place for R n R
The place to feel good again
My champagne and caviar

B. Somehow life seems better
Problems lessen whether small or large
When you know you have
A place for you to recharge

Nowhere id rather be
Here than anywhere
Life sems so much easier
You havent got a care

Oh my seaside hideaway
The place for R n R
The place to feel good again
My champagne and caviar
Oh my seaside hideaway
The place for R n R
The place to feel good again
My champagne and caviar

Good sounding tune, music, vocals and all. Words are good too.

Yeah this does sound great! I really love that bassline and vocal melody interplay, the slight percussion really works too

and spot on write! just knowing you have somewhere to go can make all the difference in the world!

It sounds so wistful. The champagne and caviar are the sea, I like that.

I'M SO IN. Let's go!!!
I love how this lilts. Mimics the breeze, the waves, a swing rocking, the sounds of the ocean and the night. I really like this. Smile

What a good song about your place of sanctuary...really conveys how much it means to you!
