Liner Notes:

Feeling a bit out of sorts today so decided to pick myself up with an instrumental. In 6/8, because 4/4 would have been much too easy.

The vibe (and title) is about that feeling you get when you meet someone who proclaims what a good bloke he is, but something feels off. And let's face it, if someone feels the need to keep telling you that they're one of the good guys, they probably aren't. Every time I've had that feeling, subsequent events have proved it was appropriate.

Please note the restrained (!) use of Spitfire Audio's BBC Symphony Orchestra Discover package here - not a single woodwind in earshot.

Please keep your comments respectful, honest, and constructive. Please focus on the song and not the demo.

I like the variety in this - the journey through various sections. Excellent guitars and exemplary restraint on the orchestral patches - the strings give a nice bit of propulsion to the track. Good drum programming, too.

Yeah, I never trust anyone who says, “Trust me.” Lol! Digging the opening guitar. Really speaking to me.

Great tone, excellent excecution. Love the vartation in the backing each time around.
AN interesting mix of textures, it's a quick 5 minutes.

Go with your gut. For sure.

I like the different movements. Excellent composition. I quite enjoyed this relaxed proggy instrumental. Great stuff!

To my ear the guitar melody is like the monologue of the bloke who proclaims to be one of the good guys and the strings are the expressed uneasy feeling of the intuitive listener. Well done!
