When you have finished your song or lyric, share the link in this thread.
It is part of the fun and the etiquette to listen to other participants songs.

*Although the skirmish is set for an hour, if you are late or run over you can still join in, there are no skirmish police! ??

Remember to have fun

Peace, love and stay safe,
Amanda

5 am is too early for me in winter, but i will try and catch up later.

It's been a few years since I last took part in one of these. It's time I had another lash at it. Smile

Hi!! How does this work? Is it on zoom? Do we write the song while on the zoom or??? Xx

Hi @Serene

It takes place in the privacy and comfort of your own environment. Amanda will announce the theme at the appointed time and she'll do it in this thread. We all scuttle off and write and record (or just write if we're lyricists, just record if we're instrumentalists) then post the finished article to our song page before the hour is up. Remember to tag the song as "skirmish, songskirmish, s070721, feast". Then we announce in this thread that we've finished and include a link. Etiquette is that we visit and comment on each other's offerings.

But, as Amanda says, there are no skirmish police. If it takes longer, or you can't do it at the time set, don't worry about it. Just do it and have fun anyway. This is NOT a competition. Smile

This may work out to be my first of the summer!

Thank you!!!

I think I may join this.

Can't do it at this time, but might clock on later and finish it.

Hoping to make it for this Biggrin

See You In The Shadows…

Unfortunately this is during my work hours, but I'm just popping in to comment on @Amanda West's statement in the initial post that "there are no skirmish police."

Because she is very, very wrong.

As I explain here: *47154

I’m hoping to make this one. Smile

I hope to be there for this. Thanks for organising it @Amanda West

If I'm not napping, I'll try to make it!

Everybody almost ready ? !!

@Amanda West - almost...

I'm sitting waiting for the minutes to pass...

Theme: 'Almost there...' use this as inspiration, literally, or however it suits you to use it Smile

Almost there… nice Biggrin I'm off to almost get there (hoepfully!)

Thanks for the prompt. I love the challenge of a skirmish even if I'm less than happy with the output.

Thank you everyone for taking part Smile
