Pinterest Prompt Challenge

This FAWM I did a challenge where I was paired up with another FAWMer and we each gave the other a prompt. I gave my partner a link to a Pinterest board and the instruction to write a song inspired by it, and they did the same for me in return. I really liked the board I was given to write about and the way the song came out, and I thought other people might like to try something similar.

In case anyone here is completely unfamiliar with Pinterest, let me give a brief explanation. A Pinterest board is the digital equivalent of cutting out a bunch of pictures from magazines and glueing them to poster board as a way of gathering inspiration for a specific project. It's basically just a page full of images collected from all over the internet that are chosen to fit a theme or aesthetic.

If you're interested, let me know below and I'll assign you a board (maybe one of mine, maybe someone else's that I think is inspiring). Alternatively, feel free to just head over to Pinterest.com and find a board you like on your own. Either way, tag your songs #pinterestprompt, and share them in this thread.

Sounds intriguing! Yes, please - sign me up.

Sure, feel free to assign me one. I feel like that's more fun and challenging than choosing my own.

Yes please!

Fun!

I'll do it!

@simpleiscomplex omg I love it

Oh, how cool! Thanks so much, @simpleiscomplex!

Is it too late to sign up? I'd love to give this a go!

This sounds very interesting, I'd love to sign up too!

@vivalarayna not too late at all! Here's one for you: https://www.pinterest.com/donnaw6/wabi-sabi

I'd love to join in!

Am I the first one to finish this challenge? Here's mine, "Punk Rock Fairy": http://fiftyninety.fawmers.org/song/47885 This is a really cool idea for a challenge btw and now in the future I just might browse random boards for inspiration when I'm feeling uninspired!

This looks interesting and potentially fun.

I'd like to give it a try.

Im in as well please.

Thank you @simpleiscomplex for the prompt. Here's what I came up with on the link below.
