Well, I live in Portland OR, but I claim the high lonesome plains of Torrance County as my spiritual homeland. I believe that's the only county in the state to have lost population in the last census. I've written a few songs set in that dry, dusty land--and I want to thank y'all for reminding me of a few NM song ideas I wanted to flesh out this summer. My physical body would probably be found in the area around Mountainair this summer, were it not for Covid. I'll have to make do with my memories
