"Questions About Me" Challenge

I picked up this cheap book a while ago for inspiration that is simply a list of 2000 random questions to answer about yourself. Sign up below if you need some inspiration or if you just enjoy challenges/prompts, and I'll assign you a random question. Keep in mind it could be anything from the frivolous (like "What's your favorite food?") to the deeply personal (like "Who is the love of your life?" or "What is your greatest fear?"). I have to say though that most of them seem to lean towards the frivolous -- I'd imagine it's not that easy to come up with 2000 deep questions, haha -- but that's kind of what this is all about!

The song doesn't have to be a direct answer to the question, it can just be loosely inspired by the topic or the result of a free write that went in a completely different direction. Share it here and tag it "personal question challenge."

P.S. Feel free to use any of the examples mentioned or assigned to others, or make up your own question if you like!

I'm assigning myself the first random question, which I will work on soon: "Would you rather take a very long train ride or a very long plane ride?"

@Amanda Rose Riley, I'll have a go. (Though any of the three you've mentioned at random might end up generating something for me as well. Wink )

@Donna Devine: There were two nature channel shows on mermaids. Do you think they could exist?

Thanks, Amanda. I'll see what I can do. Wink Interesting is that I'm just in the process of writing a lyric that mentions the Little Mermaid statue in Denmark. Wink

I’ll play! Thanks!

I like to ponder and think about myself. I will take up this challenge too. Thank you

Ooh, I like this! I'll take a question.

@kahlo "Have you ever been pulled over by a cop? If so, what were you doing?"

@Mandolinda "If you swapped genders for a day how would you spend it?"

@Robyn Mackenzie "What do you have trouble seeing clearly in your mind?"

Thanks @Amanda Rose Riley. Certainly something to think about this afternoon.

Ooo, interesting challenge! I would like a question, please!

I'd like play also please.

@splittybooms: "Do you like sunny days or rainy days more?"

Ok - methinks I want in on this challenge. Sign me up!

I posted my song on my Songlist.

@cts: "Have you ever felt like a hamster on a wheel never getting anywhere? Why?"

I know it was meant for @cts and not me, but I saw that hamster wheel prompt and immediately wrote this lyric (warning, it might be a little dark) http://fiftyninety.fawmers.org/song/48370

Since I'm here anyways derailing the thread, can I have a question, too?

@simpleiscomplex Haha sure: "If you were a bartender, what famous person would you like to serve?"

I'll have a go as well please?

Me too please Smile

@LyricSlinger "What is your favorite random fact?"
@musicsongwriter "Do you think a fling could be a good thing?"

Send it

I'd like a prompt question please

@aneilm "What was your happiest dream about?"
@didi bergman "What makes you keep your distance from someone or something?"

I've been looking at quotes lately for inspiration, so I'd like to try this & see where it takes me! Thanks!

Thank you Amanda, here is my instrumental:

Here's what I came up with. Lyrics only piece about my favourite fact, called Lobster, Mister Lobster

@Kristi "Do you ever laugh at things you shouldn't?"

Thanks, Amanda! I wrote a lyric inspired by that quote. http://fiftyninety.fawmers.org/song/48804

Hey @Amanda Rose Riley, if you are still handing out questions, I'd love to get one please.

Sure, @wacha: "What is one old thing in your life you've had since your youth that you just can't throw away?"

Thanks @Amanda Rose Riley for the question and for starting the challenge. Enjoyed it.

Here's what I wrote on the link below.
