Goodness, what a surprise!

Oh Tina, your are clever, ebagcb is not the theme but what a wonderful idea! I've playing with that tonight (well ebag#c#b close enough!) and I'll let you know / list you as a collab if I come up with anything ... thanks for all your supportive and insightful words this summer ... :D

No flies on you Mrs Marshall! I replaced the vocal about 10 minutes ago, so you were right to say so! Thanks for the kind comments on "she's complicated".

I know! Just chatting. I value your opinions on my songs more than I can say.

Well, I wouldn't tell my Madison Square Garden audience all that! But this is our secret songwriters club, so I figure talking about our process is OK, no? Plus, I'm a nerd, 'strooth.

I didn't say it was rubbish! I was just trying to talk through where it came from. I'm happy with it. But thank you for the comment--you've actually given me that sermon a few times, and it's been good for me to hear.

Thanks for being brave Tina and giving Ancient Eyes a listen. It was surely a stretch for me but
after falling under the dragon's spell, I just went ahead and walked in to the flames!
Looking forward to our collab on Didn't We.

Glad you liked Calum and my I Still Feel. Very encouraging words also, as this is more what I consider my style.

Tina, you've had 93 awesomes from me, but who's counting? Anyway, your songs are always worth listening to, but your production has really really gotten so good. :)

Wow, I take that as a huge compliment Tina, your lyrics are so creative and imaginative. OF course if DBG wanted to cover any of them, I would be happy to let you say you had thought of them first :D

Did ye get me email?

Thanks for the kind comments on BS Bingo Tina. I hadn't checked the verse count, but that's the way with BS, once it starts flowing it's hard to stop ;)

Thank you Tina for your amazing comment on Positive vibes and thank you for making an exception to listen to my piano piece :)

Thank you Tina, have a nice weekend :)

Thank you very much Tina, would it be also ok with you if I was having a go at Mrs Conundrums Daughter with my collaborators? Male voices ok or not?

Hi Tina, please let me join in saying thank you so much for your beautiful comment on my collaboration with Richard and Michael. It is always fantastic to collaborate with them, so much fun too!
Have a nice evening. I'm reading your lyrics, very interesting work!

Tina, I am overjoyed with your comments on 'Today and Everyday' Richard's (rittmo)lyrics were
so warm, and Nadia's piano was magical as usual. How could I go wrong? Regarding the Morrison/Neil Young comparison, I am flattered, but I fear that I suffer from
multi-personality vocal disorder. Maybe I should cleanse my pallate from time to time with
some Bette Midler? Looking forward to The Wicked Album!

Hi Tina,

Though i love your work i think it's appropriate to point out that there are plenty of lyricists who haven't succeeded in getting 5 of their songs put to music by halfway through the challenge. I hope you don't take this the wrong way but i just need to mention this for the sake of perspective.

I can see you actually didn't stop at 25 and for that i'm really glad. It would be a real loss to this community if you took your ball and went home. :-)

Hi Tina, check Painless Perkins email.

Hi Tina, can I please do "the girl whos fingers got stuck in her ears"

I finally got around to singing your excellent lyrics to the "Graveyard of the Black Guitars" and added you as a collaborator; I think it works really well for a song that I originally wrote sort of praising guitars instrumentally anyway :) Thanks!

Hi Tina, thanks for listenig to "go to the river" and "danny and jeannie" your time and comments are greatly appreciated. As you can imagine I had a ball with "go to the river" it was great fun to do, I think I must have used every musical and lyrical cliche that is available for the genre. Glad you liked "danny and jeannie" I can assure you that you are nothing like the jeannies I know!!!
Some really great comments on "my toy phone" I still have a wee listen now and then, it is a lyrical masterpiece, says very little, means a whole lot.

You are so (too?) nice to me.

Tina, thank you so much for your comments on First Gig. My father-in-law had a similiar turn of events upon developing Alzheimer's disease. A former critical thinker, he then became a jolly and jovial fellow up until his death. I realize that can't always be the case, but what a blessing!

Re: The Artist - um, yes, shhhhh

Thanks for your kind comments on my lyrics. I appreciate knowing how my writing comes across. Btw, I'm thoroughly enjoying reading your writing! :)

Hi, thanks for the love on "all kinds of silly". Yep, you can get an electric uke (proper electric and electric acoustic). I'm not sure about the whammy bar, but I can't see why not... :)

Thanks for commenting on Come to the Dance. Well its only a sketch, so whilst it is a little clumsy I have a fair idea of how it will sound. Oh, you spotted the obvious error. My other vocal take does have the missing line, but is an even worse performance, but its enough to remind me of how it goes until I can get around to doing a proper version. And yes the plan is to make a series of those AC Grayling poems all with the Pentangle sound.

Hi Tina, check your email for demo of Mrs Alphaberts 26 Kids

More sticky??!! You're insatiable, woman!
Can I at least roll over and have a cigarette first?

Well, my lyrics are the result of actual minutes worth of thought by a hack, and yours are the result of the inspiration of an actual artist with something to say. That's my explanation! :) Thanks for the listen, Tina, I hope things are going well for you!

Hi Tina, check your email demo for My Toy Phone sent to you.

Great, time is not a problem, my guitar playing is. Thank you for agreeing to look at this for me, will email an mp3.

Hi Tina, thanks for the kind comments on "soothe it" very much appreciated, what I really need on this song is to pull out my leckie guitar part and to ask you to come up with a mammoth lead guitar part and solo, then it would really kick some derrier, is that possible??? Like you I think the song has it's merrits but is bothered by the distraction, i.e. my electric guitar part.

Thanks also for listening to "jealousy's an angry liar", I do like a bit of grit!

Hi Tina, I would love to work with "My Toy Phone" if that's ok with you, will email a demo to you.

Hey Tinam thanks for your awesome comment on Stable Machine! Much appreciated!! Diggin your stuff!

Hi Tina, I must have missed them but I am listening to Sniff n The Tears, Drivers seat as I write, love it

Hi Tina, thank you. You know I am a fan of your wonderful writing I have been looking for something that maybe I could do if you would allow me, I feel though that @auditasum done such a magical job of Mrs Conundrums Daughter, for me, she has nailed the way to approach your material.

If something does come to mind that you think would suit and you think of me please don't hesitate to holler.

Wow, thanks for stopping back!
It is a small world! I just noticed that you do know all those people. ha!
Sounds like the plot from one of your songs!
It's so exciting after only a few days to have so many great musicians interested in adding music to my words.
Sad, though, I don't thing @gerryhboy liked anything he read because I wrote at least two yesterday that I thought would suit his voice perfect.
I left a message on his soundboard hoping he'd come back, I still haven't seen him. If you know him personally perhaps you might help us hook up.
Thanks again for all your help. I'm looking forward to reading and hearing more of your work.

Thanks for dropping by and reading some of my lyrics. I'm thrilled you enjoyed them and really tickled by your comments. Please let me know if while you read any of my words, now or in the future, if you can think of anyone who might be a good musician to add music to them. I see you've done quite a few of collaborations here. I've just found one really good singer / writer to work on a song of mine and I'm dying to hear the outcome, and to do many more. A recommendation from you would be great. thanks again, I promise I'll be back to read and listen to many more of your funny/serious songs. cc

Hi Tina

Thanks for the amazing on Time Travelers, it now has music with my rough take vocal and bad mixing, but it's getting there :)

I sent you a short version of MY SPECIAL EYES. Now I am debating how long the next version will be. I will send a long one and you can tell me what to deleted.

Thanks, Tina, for the feedback on Observer. Glad you enjoyed it. Was fun to write. Was plugging away at something crawled into my head on the weekend. Hope to have something by next week. :)

thanks for your comment on Lemon Blossom, I'm really glad you mentioned pentangle - I had been listening to Reflections and wanted that kind of vibe.

Hi Tina, thanks for giving the song a second chance, Wolf did give me a strong steer and proposed the middle eight lyrics and I just went with it. Glad I did.
,
p.s Friday nights entertainment was watching all the Death By Guitars videos on You Tube, you are all becoming family favourites! We loved them.

It is frustrating, Tina! I hear the whole darn thing in my head and can't deliver but a rough demo at the moment. A demo that, incidentally, WAS recorded in the biggest, emptiest room of the house. Great ears on ya!! Or is it the special eyes seeing things again? ;) Thanks for listening and commenting! :)

LOL, both you and Wolf have really been very kind to me in your comments on this song by not highlighting the very bad timing, but I was having so much fun I just went with it.
