Hi Nadia,
Heard our song you posted on Soundclick. Very cool.
Sorry I haven't been in touch. I recently had my car stolen...and I just wrote a protest song for the Occupy Wall Street movement.
I live in Philadelphia, and the movement is spreading to the big cities. I sang it today, and some hip hop artists who have a radio show called music in the streets picked it up and want to do a hip hop sound tract and post on YouTube. Stay tuned.

hi Nadia,

Thanks for your comment on my newer version of Nothing But You, you are completely right about the emotional difference, i had not realised that before.

The original demo is a "before" version, and the other one is sort of an "after" version, if that makes any sense. when i recorded the second version, i didn't know i would be letting anyone else hear it.

On "Do You Think We Can Get Along" , I'll look at it. The muse has been rather reluctant lately. I guess that calls for some more sweet talk. She's a sucker for sweet talk :)
I looked back at Wrong Side Of Morning again too and wrote some on it but considered it a bit too drastic a change from what you had though it mostly followed the same thought pattern. I hesitate to change someones writing TOO much.
(And where's that songbird Sheila anyway? Still flitting about the country , I guess :)

Multiple "interpretations" of the lyrics for the challenge is great and would be very interesting anyway, so please (please) feel free to choose something (please). I'd love you to be involved. You know I'm a fan. If possible look first at the currently unspoken for group, so we've got a better shot at covering all of them, which is my personal goal. But choices are open and more than one is possible also. Also time should not be an issue, I hope, since I'm shooting for October 17. Anyway, I've said here and elsewhere that I'd love you and Rittmo to participate, individually and together. And of course, your newest cohort, Mike, who's already hard at work on some stuff. And of course our there's our Paul (Dragondreams). Duo, Trio, Quartet, Quintet, Sextuplets, I don't mind - just bring that beautiful piano playing and your composition skills!

Billy Sea sent me a fun tune a few days back... but it would be fun to collab on another song sometime. Coming up I'll be off work for a bit, so hopefully my muse will step into gear.
