Thanks for your comments Kathy - Glad you liked the title suggestion of 'Touch the Sky" - Actually, I didn't know it was the anniversary of Hendrix's death. I just happened to glance out a car window before I got home in time to run the skirmish, and noticed how blue the sky was. I also fleeingly thought of "kiss the sky" but remembered that had been done before!

Did an acoustic-guitar-and-shaken-percussion take of "I Can Breathe ..." Send me an email at chipwithrow@yahoo.com and I can send you the mp3, or just add me as a collaborator and I'll post. I added a couple of lines to make a 3rd verse but kept all your other words as is. Hope you weathered the storm up there!

Hi Kathy, Thanks for the comment on 'Shine'...The broadway part came as a bit of surprise to me. It's nice to see what other people hear in my lyrics :)
Also, your comment on 'Wornout, Tornout, Brokedown Heart' - Country seems to be easiest for me - I really ought to push harder sometimes.
