BIO:

Yes those are 'real' drums - well an electronic kit actually, but distinctly played not programmed* (people ask, every now and then, what drumming software I use). Also real bass, guitar and keyboards but I use a false voice.

Guitar sound ? Guitar into amp. macbook on top of amp using internal mic. bits of flanging and chorus and compressor from mac to try to hide bleeding. The internal mic does a compressing/phasing thing all on it's own too. Maybe one day all heavy bands will use internal mics.

Yes Scott Bradley of Tom & Jerry!!!! those soundtracks are awesome.
And Yes It Bites - what a band! I love all there stuff, but Once Around The World is the most unified stylistically. They did suffer from being so talented they could play anything and didn't seem to know what to do direction wise. I got to see them live twice and they were amazing.

Where did you get your false voice? I think I could do with one myself...

Hey Hoops, I kept following your creativity, even though not commenting on the songs yet (my favourite is "Lie in wait"). Beautiful pieces combined with an excellent voice that completes them... I do not know if you are open to collabs, but if you are and if you have the time, I`d love to invite you to have a look at some lyrics of mine and if you find anything that touches you in any way, I`d look very forward to an eventual collaboration...

Popping in to say a quick 'ello! Summer here has been extremely busy keeping me from participating the way I'd hoped to, but it's a long event and hopefully I'll get on the board soon, at least some lyrics, anyway and a trip or to to the chat room. Hey Hoops, thanks much for the comment. I've been struggling a bit. Not because I'm unable to write, but I haven't been feeling like it. As a wise Tim once mentioned to me (last FAWM), we have nothing to prove because we've done this time and again (your 50 songs in a day or so proves that).

So, I've decided to just to just enjoy myself. If that means 50 songs about not being arsed, or farting in the shower or whatever, that is what it will be. (I actually have the lyrics for Farting in the Shower, just haven't gotten around to writing music yet, lol)

Anyway, always glad to see you around and if the music bug hits you, will look forward to enjoying your songs. And if you don't decide to write, will enjoy your company (which is the bigger gift anyway).
