I have put together a collection of "Scottish" tunes, not sure if they could be called "folk" as I'm not sure what that really is, anyway thus the name "songs aboot ma ain folk".

As 50/90 draws to a close I would like to take time to thank the following people dragondreams, brzan, tinam, wolfkier, donna devine, arthur rossi, ryhmetime, cold comfort and musicsongwriter whose music and lyrics have given me so much joy over the 50/90 period. Hey Gerry,
Yeah, if you hear something on Emmy Lou, send me something. I'd like to see it done, as it has some personal connection for me. I can also send you what I hear on it if necessary, but we seem to usually be pretty much on the same page. My head tunes are usually pretty "basic". I used to have some done by sending someone my vocal, which usually worked out well but that involved getting an actual melody together from my head tune and that tended to be frustrating so mostly quit it. .
Yeah, Toast is supposed to do Devil Sent Her back. I suppose I should bug him about it. Time runnith out

Thanks for stopping by and listening. I try to enunciate well... thanks for noticing. ;) I figure I write the words, I want people to know what I am saying... and yes if I sound "a little Paul Simonesque" it means I'm doing something right because he is one of my favorites. haha. A big influence.

id be delighted to put some guitar on soothe me gerry! i agree with kevin that it would be better shorter...maybe some lead going into a fade at 4 mins?
the problem is when i have time ...with holidays & the kids being of till september.. i can write lyrics while doing anyhting but not play & record guitar! sarah & ally & me have been trying to write but yet to record some DBG stuff for 50/90 so im committed to that aswell.
if you can wait till sept i will def. have it done ... maybe sooner... send me a mp3 without your lead on it.
