Hey G. Thanks for listening/commenting on my foray into rap. Yes, I was thinking on the way to work (on my bike), that the "hard core" tag is not accurate. The groove and delivery is pretty mellow. However, there is a lot of "language", some probably innapropriate... I could do a harder groove, and vocal, but what I laid is probably more "me". It's arguably more a "humour" rap,than an "anger" rap. Whatever the case it was fun. And I realized how hard it is to rap.

re:name in lights. Hmmm, did you mix with a subwoofer? To my ears, on my studio monitors, no subwoofer, and flat, I thought the song did not have a bass part, guitar or keys.... I'll listen again with phones.... but typically mixes are much bassier on my system, if they have a bass part.

I tried doing my best G Slade on 'Always An Option', but came out more like G Love. :-/ Are you interested in a collab? I'd love to try putting a backing track together for you. Let me know.

George, I am really touched by your comment in that thread you referred me to. Thank you. I usually feel as though I sail under people's radars, but we probably all feel like that. I'm working on a CD right now, with Kristian producing it, but it's slow going. I'll definitely let you know when we get it done, and there will be a new website launch to coincide. Thanks again.

Thank you for noticing. I was going for more than a hint of irony. A song that seems to be a pure love song but in reality has at least a tinge of impurities. It was quite on purpose and while it may not work as well as I had planned, I'm not unhappy with it.
