Hey, and thanks for the kind words! Afraid I've got a lot on my plate at the moment, so can't really promise anything, not any time soon anyhow. I really like the lyrics and concept of the "do i hear a whisper?" though and I feel it'd be up my alley, so unless you find someone else to do it, I may be back at a later date and have a whirl at it. Until that, feel free to look for other people of course, and I'll let you know if/when that day comes. I'm also rather fond of "this ship sails angry waters", so that might be another one I'd be interested. But as said, it'll be at a later date, right now I can't promise anything.

Hey CC! Welcome to 50/90, I am also just a "beginner" here, it`s my 1st 50/90, too... I have been reading a bit through your songtexts and first of all, I would like to tell you you are truely very talented and I found great stuff there (my favourite is your first, though ;-). IMHO your songtexts fulfill all the formal criteria to be able to be put to music, the meter is consitent, the structure is very good, and last but not least, they make sense, too (which is not always obligatory, however, I personally prefer songs that do make a sense). Unfortunately, I do not know who to recommend to you, most people here are very friendly and all the ones who collaborated with me, anyway (you can see it also on the way how they are commenting), so you could eventually try to leave them a note on their soundboard or send them a pm. I like your lyrics, and the way the lyrics are written often determines the music they will/can be put to (though many would contradict now, and also this is not always obligatory, but I would imagine it to be difficult to put country lyrics, for instance, to a heavy metal sound (though it is not impossible, but would sound "strange"). Why do I write all this? The problem is we write in a bit different styles (at least IMHO, I cannot still definitely determine the best genre where your lyrics would fit in, probably there are several, whereas I (not exclusively but mostly) write for country- and pop-music, so also the "audience among the musicians/composers" for your songtexts might differ from mine, which additionally makes it complicated for me to make recommendations. To make a long story short: most people here are extremely friendly. Listen to the music and if you like something try to get in touch with them. Have also a look at the soundcloud under the headline "needs-lyrics"(or something similar to that) or in the forum under the headline "collaborations". Good luck,
