hey, arthur, i've done the music and just need to the vocals. my voice has been a little overused lately, and i have two big shows tonite and tomorrow. so, i'll try to put vocals on it next week and put it up. i think you'll be pleased with the outcome :)

Hi Arthur, can't believe it, you are a double winner, and still going! I for myself had a less productive month, but I'm coming back, I promise, and I have at least three songs of you I still want to give music. Thanks for your understanding to let me alter the lyrics, in the way that a native speaker would express them. When I write lyrics myself, I'm not always sure either that it's "real english". Still I'm happy this doesn't stop you to write many great lyrics. You'll hear from me, as soon as I have at least one of our collabs on tape. :-)

Arthur! Thanks a lot for your message and your interest! I checked out many of your lyrics and I feel a lot of them! I tried putting them with some music ideas I have, but it's kind of difficult. For one, your songs are all pretty long and the phrasing is quite different than what I do.... BUT, I have a proposition for you! I can send you a couple mp3 (just really rough phone recordings of guitar and vocal melody lines) and maybe you could see if you could take the feel of the song and turn out some lyrics. (Which is usually how I proceed to make a song) Lemme know what you think!

Thanks for listening to "Sir William". I certainly can become too wordy, but since I write for an audience that likes folk songs, stories, and ballads, I can usually get away with it. They're more likely to follow the plot than the average "hear it on the radio" listener.

You are very welcome Arthur. Well, many of my compositions are sad and I suppose composing often reflects how we feel. I sometimes compose happy songs as a task to get lighter feel in my music. I like your lyrics very much and I know I'm not the only one.

Hi Arthur. I've worked out quite a nice arrangement for "A Better Man than Me", though I had to tweak the words a little along the way - hope you don't mind! I'll trying to get something up before the weekend, I'm on holiday but am busier than I thought I'd be! But I'm enjoying playing and singing this wonderful little number :D
