I think I will stay at 49. Just because. :)
You going to write 16 today? Go for it!

Hiya,
Yeah, that's all good with me, as long as it's all free. I assume there'll be a link to share?
As for credit, something like:
Vocals by Kahiwa Balfour (www.facebook.com/KahiwaMusic)

Sorry I took ages to reply. So slack :(

Sure, I understand, songwriting doesn't stop on October 1 !
Looking forward to several more from you, my good man!
please check your private messages from here in a few minutes.
CC

Time for one more collab? 10 days.
CC

Thank you Eric for your comments on Didn't We? I am still impressed with(and regularly listen to) Moment of Silence Moment of Glory. What a fusion of styles it is! Would love to collab with you on a song.

YEAH!!!! :D

Thanks for the comment airbagtester, It was one of those songs that just seemed to write itself in about 10 minutes

Hi airbagtester, thanks for your comment! I wasn't sure if i would get shunned by the SA Forums group after today, but clearly not entirely judging by your comment.

re: soul singers from the UK, you're right, i can't think of many, Shirley Bassey, that's about it. There must be tons though, but they're not high on the radar. I do like singing soul though i rarely get the chance unfortunately.

Just want to reiterate that I really enjoyed your version of "Jeremy Finch". I hope that @segers41 continues with his interpretation too. I might note in the name that it's your version and then if/when @segers41 finishes his he can upload it to the other one?

Eric, again thank you so much for taking so much (more) careful time with my music. I'm overwhelmed. Just a few more songs and you may hold the record for most wolf kier songs endured during the 50/90. Gerry and DD are just slightly ahead. There ought to be a separate trophy just for you three!
I appreciate it very much. From what I read in your comments, you enjoyed, which is great news.
Again deep appreciation for your time and feedback,
wolf.

Eric,
Sincere thanks for spending so much time with my music yesterday.
I'm glad you enjoyed and I was interested to read you "take" on the songs. Very incisive responses. It was a pleasure and a treat to have a listener who listens AND hears.
wolf.

Listened to your draft and I really liked it. Completely different to how I heard it in my head, which is a good thing. Can't wait to hear it with horns too. Thank you so much!

Thanks so much for your comments!
About the Socialite woman: I forgot her name as soon as we'd finished the song... she was in the British news for a while, but I can't even remember why ;)

FYI "Save the drama for yer momma!" is a great title and I think you should go with that...

Thanks for the comment on "Jeremy Finch". If you've got an idea for it, have at it my friend, I wanna hear it!
The second chorus is a good idea. Not sure the references to 'nickel' and 'dime' quite gel with 'pennies'

Eric,
Thanks for the continued support. I'm thrilled that you're enjoying my music. You know I'm a huge fan of what you're doing, so I'm always happy to read your incisive comments.
wolf.

Thanks for the great comments, Eric. Just for clarity, it's my synaesthesia that Gerry was referring to in the lyrics. I hear coloured lights... As for "not inhaling". That's up to the listener to decide. ;)

Yes please! A crisp chilly winter ukulele song! Would love to hear that :) Thanks for listening to Spring!

Neil Diamond -- that made me crack up. :) That you for the listen and the really nice comment, ABT!

yeah put hank williams in the institute if weird noises if you want eric! i think dragondreams is also doing it put i dont think thats a problem

LOL, February Lryics Writing Month :D Of course only Giant Sloths can participate which is kind of a bummer for all the lryics writers out there in the non Giant Sloth world :)

Just listened to your music for "Instructions for Use". Thanks - it's great.

The chorus is terrific - catchy and upbeat, keeps the lyric from being too heavy. Nice!

Eric, You did an amazing job with "what's mine" I love it. Top class sound / musical idea / interpretation. And I think you greatly undervalue your voice which is unique and interesting to listen to. Feel free to choose another of my lyrics ANY TIME you like.
Thank you & Kudos CC.

oh yeah.... buy the sitar!

Whoa.. first season?! ;) This episode straddles seasons 6 & 7. Lore gets 'dealt with' in all kinds of ways over the years. But he always manages to get reactivated or reassembled so he can cause havoc and Brent Spiner can play 2 roles at once.

I love that you picked up on the Evil Dead tone to In The Trees. Did you ever see/hear the musical? It was playing in Toronto for 3 years, and it was amazing. I saw it twice and memorized the soundtrack. I had to concentrate on NOT sounding like I was one of those characters when I read the story. ;)

And if you actually want the common names to all the plants in The Poisoner's Mnemonic I can send them to you. Those verses were my contribution. >:) I could only use plant names that fit syllabically, so some really awesome killer plants didn't make it into the list.

Hey bro, I just pulled in from vacation myself, up north looking at stars and stuff with the family. Looks like you've got a nice party going on over here! I need to plug the studio back in and listen up on your stuff (and then mix down all the cool tracks we stole).

I've added "do an immense instrumental with ABT next FAWMstock" to my wish list. I say we line up as many instruments as we have on hand, and write a 3 minute song with you and I alternating through them as quick as we can. We'll start the whole epic with an acapella intro just to throw them off the trail :D

Thanks, ABT - those horns and strings are from the Vienna Symphonic collection, samples that came with NI Kontakt elements. I think they sound killer, and wish I had the 3K USA dollars to buy the whole thing. :)

Hi Eric, thank you for the kind comments on "dannie and jeannie" I recognise that there is a reality to the song and I wish your very special person well in the challenge so bravely accepted.

Thanks for offering music for "Instructions for Use". I look forward to hearing what you come up with - I'm drawing a total blank myself.

Added you as collab.

Eric - BUY THE SITAR!

You know you want to... ;)

Thanks for checking out Soldier's Farewell. Yeah, religious feel is probably right - I was kinda heading towards that sort of ritual/dirge quality crossed with one of those super slow military march tempos - basically carrying the dead and dying to the grave. Wow, aren't I the cheerful one - lol :)

Your comparison of my "Instructions or Use" to Minutemen is one of the highest compliments I have received in a while. Thanks!!!

LOL kk enjoy yourself!

Ah ha! I heard the song by @plainwhitetoast on the FAWMstock LiveStream cast, I think? I thought I remembered hearing a song about ice cream...
Let's do it! No idea where to start, and I don't have access to instruments or computer at home right now, but come Friday I'll be all good to go :D

Thanks for your kind words on my lyrics of 'Here In My Polaroids'. Yeah, I think he did an amazing job :D I was so happy to see someone put music and vocals to a set of my lyrics.

-Xenexian

I was listening back/looking through first songs of 50/90 and found your comment on "Follow" about ice cream (again?).
Wanna write a song about ice cream/ice cream trucks? I love ice cream, all year round, any flavour (except anything with raisins). I get so excited when the truck comes, but Husband tells me we have no cash/it's going in the wrong direction/etc and I miss out :(

Just a random (I should be going to sleep) thought :)

C'est vrai, ce n'est pas une pipe. It is also not a song, if I understand Magritte. :) Awesome, Mr. Tester!

Yes, good to meet you too, Eric. Same time next year?

It was really nice to meet you too, Eric! :D

Nice to meet you too! And I always keep it weird!

Oh, and thanks again for getting all that video on my camera!

It was a great time! Enjoyed your glockenspiel and skirmish and campfire songs, too.

Funny about "Musician's Assistant" -- it's a magician in the song, but it is loosely based on a musician I used to date ....

I twas good to meet you too - I was going to ask the Facebook question, but then I saw you'd already had that one with Swampjaw... ;)

Thanks for recording! I had no idea that would still sound awesome away from campfire and beer and such. You rule. Your instrument array is also very impressive. :)

You don't really miss out much on FB. It's kind of like how you're missing out by not being addicted to crack. Nearly every day, I promise myself that I'm going to quit; it's 10% really useful, 90% time sink.

Hi -- I didn't see you in the FAWMStock FB group, so I thought I'd alert you -- I posted a vid of YLWYC on YouTube. Let me know if this is cool (or not!).

It was nice to meet you at FAWMstock! I wanted to thank you for that swig of Scotch you were kind enough to share with me. It made my night. :D Thanks for that!

My good man!

I am slowly digging through my hard drive, and I found this song from an early session upstairs.
Is this yours? I'd love to post up using the FAWMstock id and hook the author into the file to grab the lyric, etc.

Thank you for your comment on my New Mexico song! It made me smile

Feel free to do music for "Morning Run" if you'd like, but there's certainly no rush. If you get around to it, I would be thrilled, but if you don't then don't sweat it.
