2021 (Year 11!)
After FAWM I decided I was going to finally polish up 100 of my favorite and best songs (out of nearly 1600) from the past 15 years of songwriting. I'm calling the project: WK100. Many of you have been chiming in with feedback with the project so far. Thanks. By start of 5090 I had 54 tracks complete and I'm going to soldier on so that the project can get finished in time for FAWM21, so I can start fresh then without these hanging over my head. All critical feedback about songcraft, performance and especially production is very, very welcome!!! Have at it.

I've earmarked 30 specific songs to work on and share here during the challenge period. Some I've never shared with anyone, some you might remember from FAWM/5090 between 2012-2016, but you've never seen 'em as shiny and happy and finished as you will. But all 30 need much work, and my rule to myself is not to post anything here unless I've spent at least 8 hours on it. I really am shooting for final "spotify" ready productions and all help/feedback etc will help with final polish to that end. Thanks in advance!
They're not new songs, they're revised, reworked, remixed, remastered (sometimes completely rerecorded) and can take hours or days each to get "right". So I'll be posting what I'm working on every few days to get more feedback. I'll also be updating posted tracks based on your feedback.
You can call it "finished during the challenge" you can call it collabs with the old me, you can call it a mix/production challenge, you can call it a "life's work" personal challenge, you can call it insane, or you can call it cheating if you wish, but that's the plan for this particular Summer Songhunt.
Of course, if I'm inspired to something new then I'll post that too, but I'm kinda hoping not b/c I want to get the WK100 project completely done and out of my system/conscience/hard drive so I can start afresh for FAWM21.
Looking forward, as always, to hearing much yummy stuff from all of you and having another great, fun and productive Summer amongst friends! As always I'll repay every visit to my work with visits to yours, #tit4tat!
