I've done FAWM 3 times, but I think this is my second 50/90 - time seems to be standing still these days.
Silicon Valley technical writer turns novelist turns songwriter/music producer (or so I like to think).
When I met my father he said, "all my kids play the drums" and that explained everything about myself.
He described one of my 5 uncles as "marching to a different drummer." That explained even more.
After that, I started to seriously explore music starting with where I was, which included some keyboard and vocals. Then I enrolled in some Berklee College of Music courses through Coursera, earning a Music Production Certificate.
GarageBand in the very beginning, then upgraded to Logic Pro, and then Ableton.
I had just started Ableton toward the end of last year's 50/90 and was just getting to sorta know it, when Logic Pro X 10,5 was released and that was a game changer - or so they say.
Use the new features in LP 10.5, such as the drum sequencer, which interests me the most, of course, and see what else I can do with it. I also recently got Ana2 and Kick2 so will be experimenting with them, too. And, of course, I mustn't forget what I've been learning in Ableton Live.
I’ll be getting a slow start because I won’t really be available until mid-July.
