I will be only dabbling in writing new songs for 50/90 for 2020, as I'm working on finishing a right and proper album this summer. My old songs are upset that I haven't taken the time to care about them. The last thing I need is 50 new songs to pile on top of them. I really want to go back and recording and finish and fine-tune the hundred-some-odd songs I have in my repertoire, not to mention the thousands of song ideas that need completing.
So I know it's not the "rules," but I have hundreds of songs that need to see the light of day, and the best way I could use this challenge is to take care of my unfinished idea children. I hope that's OK. I will make it clear in the liner notes if a song is new or old.
