Hello, my name is Amanda and I am a FAWM/5090 addict.
I live on the west coast of Ireland in some woodland and a couple of fields on my sort of smallholding, with 3 cats, 10 chickens, a drum set, acoustic guitar, too many instruments and a donkey... plus a warped and wicked sense of humour Oh and I am a very young 56 years old, so please make allowances for me
I am happy for people to use my lyrics for collabs (just here within 50/90, unless agreed with me beforehand), as long as you ask me first please - in case someone else has jumped in there already.
Exciting bit (for me anyway):
I am about to release a 'various artists' album, called Emotional Sushi, with 13 emotional songs co-written with a good few different people, including a few FAWMers and 50/90ers - Steven Wesley Guiles, Gordon Todd, Briand Melanson, Robbie Hancock.
I'd like to also release a fun/humorous album after 50/90.
I am ajna1960 on FAWM, but decided to use my full name here as it's more me
I am lucky enough to be working at my passion, which is writing lyrics full time and collaborating with wonderful composers and musicians. I mostly write lyrics for the film/tv market, although I do also write for people's albums, as well as artist pitches.
Now and then I write topline melody, play drums & percussion, whistle, recorder etc, and am teaching myself to play guitar, a full drum set, and to record via a DAW etc.
I also play the bodhran, for those who like a wee bit of Irish rhythm.
If you wish to co-write professionally, please feel free to ask.
I can be contacted by email, if needed, at sheeaunmusic at gmail dot com
The next bit sounds harsher than it is - it's mainly just to ensure that we discuss the collaboration before we start, and that we are on the same playing field
Please ask me first if you would like to use my lyrics, just in case someone else has already asked and has started working with them.
If you wish to collaborate with a view to the finished song being used outside of 50/90, please check with me before we start, as I often use my lyrics professionally after 50/90
If you wish to change my lyrics, please check with me first to ensure I'm happy with the changes. I am usually open to discussion, as that is how collaboration works !
The above isn't meant to sound difficult, it's just a matter of sorting what we are doing before we start, so everyone is happy - communication !
Many thanks, love and peace etc
