Lifelong dabbler music, mostly noodling at home on guitar and uke and piano. First toe-dip into the world of songwriting in 2017. I discovered FAWM belatedly in March, so did a personal 10 songs in 30 days challenge all on my lonesome. Then in June I planned to start 50/90 early because I had some free time then. I did manage 8 songs in the first couple of weeks, but laryngitis forced a change of plans. So I'm joining the fold here, and restarting the count! Instrument collection: piano, keyboard, ukes galore (tenor, baritone, banjolele, low G, etc), clarinet, cello, trumpet, electric bass, faux-Telecaster, acoustic guitars, melodica, tin whistle. So many toys, so little time/talent :P I'm more experienced with the acoustic instruments above, total noob at recording and producing - it's all done with one USB mic, an iRig HD, a midi keyboard and GarageBand. Steep learning curve figuring out what knobs to twiddle on GarageBand and keep discovering new things I don't know!
