And so it was, Sunday Sept 18.. song number 50. This is a kind of hybrid. The drums, bass and piano are all apple loops from garageband. Once I had created that jazzy track with the mac, I imported it into the pc and recorded some live electric guitar (fender stratocaster, with a bit of distortion etc).. did two takes, this is take two... and here it is, a kind of mellow yet upbeat jazzy instrumental to close out 50 songs.
There may of course be other songs after these this challenge for me, but I'm happy to have gotten to 50, with at least a good percentage of them (better then previous years) being not complete throwaways..

First to comment on your 50th! I loved just listening to the loops, then the guitar came in and ... wicked! Very streetwise, like a '70s detective show theme (compliment, by the way, as that was the golden era of good TV themes). You do some very bluesy Buddy Guy-ish repetitive things in there that I'm really digging.
