Billy: Bud posted his lyrics on July 8th. Not knowing if he had his own version in the works (he did) I asked if I could do some music for them and he said I could. I had lots of fun with these, thanks Mr. Blue Haint 1 :)

Lyrics:

Days fly through time faster than the speed of light
Don’t know how to prove it but I bet that I’m right
History is made of countless yesterdays
Good to know what happened, just don’t get lost in the haze

(Chorus)
There’s only one way to get out of here
Drive out on the speedway and throw away your fears

Let’s build a pyramid and let’s make it tall
Somebody will see us and answer the call
History is made of the things we do today
If you feel the need for speed, don’t let time
Get in your way….
Drive.

Fun, fun, fun - that shaker and the "la la las" put this one over the top. A message we should all heed, some cool images (pyramids and speedways), and a catchy-as-can-be Billy Sea tune. Yeah, this is a good one.

Intelligent and very well written lyrics, grandiosely put to music! As nancyrost said, the uptempo of the music accentuates the "speed of time", love the rhythm of it. It`s fun to listen to it!

Definitely chanelling Dylan here! Really nice feel to it and enjoyed the lyrics here. "History is made of countless yesterdays" is an excellent line.

I like the uptempo feel of this - really emphasizes the "need for speed" in the lyrics. I could easily imagine a bluegrass adaptation of this.

Very folk - very Dylan, I think. Very nice piece of work, guys!

I enjoyed this! I like the messages...all of them...and the music/singing. And I like the extras that Billy adds in. It keeps it fun and makes you want to listen again! Good collab!

Really fun tune for some tight pithy lyrics; this has a timeless folk 'philosophy in a box' quality, makes ya think and smile at the same time (which is always a good combination)! Extra points to Billy Sea for using exactly the right ratio of "La-da-da", as the 'rest of the sentence.' This one'll stick in my head a while.
