Liner Notes:

people are scared of spiders no matter how small but as humans they must be more scared of us. Here's my song from the spiders perspective

Lyrics:

Verse 1
Spinning a web by the window
going about my business day to day
man I've seen some sights in my time
and I cringe at things they say
how many times do you need to say "I love you"
how many times do you need something new

Chorus
Why you got to come at me with an empty glass?
why are you scared of something so small?
well it makes me laugh when you miss me
screaming as I scurry across the wall
you're a million times the size of me
you know you are
that's why I suffer with anthropophobia

Verse 2
can't you see I'm protecting your home
do you want it swarming in flies
just going about my business day to day
for some reason you can't sleep unless I die
how many years of bad luck is that?
how many times a day do I have to watch my back?

Chorus
Why you got to come at me with an empty glass?
why are you scared of something so small?
well it makes me laugh when you miss me
screaming as I scurry across the wall
you're a million times the size of me
you know you are
that's why I suffer with anthropophobia

Bridge
I'm just tryin to live, just like you
I have no interest in what you do
so just for one day can you leave me alone
trust me I'm no danger to your home

Chorus
Why you got to come at me with an empty glass?
why are you scared of something so small?
well it makes me laugh when you miss me
screaming as I scurry across the wall
you're a million times the size of me
you know you are
that's why I suffer with anthropophobia

Clever to write from the spider’s perspective. Interesting lyrics.

"I'm just tryin' to live" - You said it. Our spider friends need more love. This is funny and touching. .

I used to have a colleague who was (and I don't use this word lightly) psychotically afraid of spiders. I'd like to think I could play this song to him to show him that they're really okay, but I know he'd refuse to listen to it. His loss.
