These morphs are fast becoming my favorite challenge http://fiftyninety.fawmers.org/content/morph-music-or-lyrics-only-challenge

I think because I've been relatively writing very few lyrics and its a great chance to "borrow" someone else's Wink

I was initially going to stick with the really great wonky style country tune @mikehex had done, but wasn't feeling my take on it.......... it felt pretty disingenuine. So really just cut the lyric up about by half and changed a few words even though it ended up being almost 5 minutes Biggrin

The chain so far

Music Morph 3
1. Seed song @wacha *48834
2. @kahlo *49397
3. @mikehex *49986
4. @dzd
5. @nate.gerry
6. @wacha

Lyrics:

D Am C G throughout on a loop then some other unknown completely sloppy wankery wankin'

Scraping up nickels and dimes
An odd job here or there might keep you alive
Follow your nose through the night
Take what the city provides

Roll another number, roll another joint
Make it to the corner just get to the point
Keep the rhythm rolling shake it fro and to
Just might survive another day or two

Sing only when your heart has something to say
Sometimes you don't know how to get through the day
But at night you're never alone
Follow just follow your nose

Roll another number, roll another joint
Make it to the corner just get to the point
Keep the rhythm rolling shake it fro and to
Just might survive another day or two

Please keep your comments respectful, honest, and constructive. Please focus on the song and not the demo.

That reversed (?) guitar is a great hook on it's own. Sounds really colosal and the lyrics are engaging.
I love when you do abstract, but I love (maybe a fraction more) when you do structured. Always interesting listening, my friend.

Great sound, - very well done; like it. It has a genuine feel Smile

Holy catchy chorus, Batman. This is really cool and has the kind of beat that makes me want to move. I like the dreamy echoes that contrast with that solid beat, gives it a kind of grungy feel that I dig.

So glad I listened to this. So much going on, the drums, symbols, guitar rhythms, lead, vocals. Lyrics are great too. Digg'n the sloppy wankery wankin'...What a fun morph...
