Liner Notes:

Prompt was Trek. What did you think I'd write about?!?
Open for collab -

Lyrics:

His Stoic Nature
His lanky walk
I could listen for hours
to his logical talk
That time where he laughed
That time where he cried
And who can forget
That time he died

Scientist, Musician
Pilot and friend
And who won’t remember
The way that he’d end
Every final conversation
In lieu of goodbye
“Live Long and Prosper”
And away he would fly

I’ve always been obsessed with Mr. Spock
Watching Star Trek reruns all around the clock
That raised eyebrow and jet black bangs
Tore at my heart with deep love pangs
I’ve always been obsessed with Mr. Spock

His Phazer skills
His knock em out grip
And how the doctor
Gave him lip
He has been
And forever will be
So step aside, Chapel,
He belongs to me

And even in Radioactivity
“The needs of the many
Outweigh the needs of me”

I’ve always been obsessed with Mr. Spock
Watching Star Trek reruns all around the clock
That raised eyebrow and jet black bangs
Tore at my heart with deep love pangs
I’ve always been obsessed with Mr. Spock

I kind of figured you might go this direction-- a really lovely lyric and a wonderful tribute to an iconic character of large and small screen alike.

I love the Trekkie take on your lyrics! I have never watched Star Trek so it was great to learn more about Spock from your well crafted lyric!

Oh yes of course I tried so hard to do that hand signal! What a nice tribute to ol Spocky. Lovely skirmish

ha, wonderful! and, perhaps trivia you might know, but the 'live long and prosper' sign with the fingers, comes from a jewish synagogue ritual originally.
I can't say i watched the later iterations, but way back when I'm sure i watched every episode of the original series (probably in the early reruns in the early 70's or so)

nice lyric! somewhere leonard nimoy is giving that half human, half vulcan half-smile Smile

Yay! Star Trek. Love it! Great Trekkie details in this. Very fun!
