Summer in the South of France

Liner Notes:
One last hurrah. I've enjoyed my 1st 5090. I didn't get as much done the last month. When the temperature finally breaks here in Texas, it's time to get outside and get things done.
Tons of talent on display, well done everyone.

Lyrics:
Summer in the South of France
You and I on a traveler's high
It was summer in the south of France
We'd left the lights of Gay Paree behind
One summer in the south of France
Marmalades and crowded cafes
Kisses under Roman ruins
We learned a few new words to say
Like "My darling, je t'amie beaucoup"
We bought our bread at the Boulangerie
Cause that's the way that the French like to do it
We were in love and we knew it
That summer in the south of France
Summer in the south of France
We danced
Soft pastels on a carousel
Love came turning in the south of France
We tossed our coin in a wishing well
Hearts were burning in the south of France
Like starry nights of ol' Van Gogh
It was laissez les bon ton roulette
A lazy stroll 'long the River Rhone
While a man with an accordion played
We wined and dined at La P'tite Brasserie
Cause that's the way that the French like to do it
We were in love and we knew it
That summer in the south of France
Summer in the south of France
We danced
Oooh, in the south of France
You can find a little magic on most any street
When you're walking with the one you love
It's a fait accompli
Our tongues entwined on the Rue Saint-Marie
Cause that's the way that the French like to do it
We were in love and we knew it
That summer in the south of France
Summer in the south of France
We danced

Very cool imagery and a lovely tale of love. And nowhere better to find it in the South of France.
Nice is Nice. Good one Ed, vivid imagery.
Good seeing you here and collaborating, maybe see you next year.
