metalfoot: I have really enjoyed working with Sunfire's lyrics this 50/90. Wow. What a talent!

Lyrics:

It's not what you say (It's what you do)

I don't need to hear I love you
Words often don't express
Something deeper that exists
Though at times we don't confess
How much we care for one another
Even when things get bad
I sense your heart is anchored to me
And I have to say I'm glad

It's not what you say
It's what you do
From the smile on your face
To a kiss that feels true
It's not what you say
It's what you do
When you show me you care
You melt any blue

An emotional reaction
Your eyes that swell with tears
When you comfort me in pain
It releases all my fears
Your presence can calm a rolling storm
Slow down my spinning mind
I feel the warmth of your devotion
As you help me to unwind

It's not what you say
It's what you do
From the smile on your face
To a kiss that feels true
It's not what you say
It's what you do
When you show me you care
You melt any blue

Intuition is the substance
Beyond the world of talk
Where actions speak volumes
Like a key is to a lock

It's not what you say
It's what you do
From the smile on your face
To a kiss that feels true
It's not what you say
It's what you do
When you show me you care
You melt any blue

Yeah I've really enjoyed the (not enough yet) lyrics of sunfire's I've read so far! This one is no exception. Amazing sentiment with this write, masterfully penned(or typed as the case may be) Biggrin

and another excellent performance by metalfoot too, that I always enjoy! I really love the energy of this one particularly, its fitting, has a bit of an angsty feel that isn't out of place with this write. Is that one of those spider capos? I've toyed with them, but really should acquire one

great collab!

I'm really happy with the way this turned out. Alex, you rock! Did a great job! Cheers.

So much energy in that strumming pattern, and the partial capo gives it a nicely dynamic sound. The bridge is especially good! Solid folk rock tune.
