Liner Notes:

Since going back to work a few weeks ago, I seem to have stumbled upon a new routine of 50-90 music production. During the week I'm mostly fiddling around in Buzz and then on the weekends I break out the guitar & my "Live" Buzz setup for some plank spanking. This song breaks that routine. It's from the latter category - though it's Wednesday (mid-week). I got home from work today & just felt like playing guitar. This is the result.

This is built around my Grunge Pedal tone & a bunch of delay. The main riff (like so often happens) just appeared out of nowhere. And all the craziness built around this central theme was purely instinctual. I just followed the feeling, allowing my Muse to guide me True - as she always does. I really like the result.

The tittle is maybe reflection of current & historical political situations that just sort of jumped into my head as I was figuring out the track's Metadata in post.

Stay tuned, I've got two Buzz tracks in mid-production & I'm sure some more plank spanking will happen before the end of 50-90.

See You In The Shadows…

I mean this deserved a favorite just by the title alone! hahah
This makes me miss my Grunge Pedals(I think I've had 3 or 4)........I've got a good mid-scoop fuzz circuit, does basically most the same stuff, just not quite as versatile as those are, there's not a "grunge" adjustment which as far as I know is just how much mids get scooped........that thing is shining here!
This is just excellent all around! and sounds like it was a blast!

i wish i had the equipment to put together music like this. if it is half as much fun to produce as it is to listen to, then it must be a real high. there seem to be no limitations. you can take it wherever you want it to go. no chordal or key confinements. rocket music!

I really enjoy how you dismantle structure and harmony here, while using the delay to establish rhythmic patterns. The sound has a dirty quality that suits the guitar work perfectly. Loving the echoing slides and the mesmeric atmosphere they create. Also loving that the sounds gains in thickness and breadth at times. The long outro is surprising. This is an excellent piece.

I'm not sure that the title here only applies to the present political situation around the world; in my mind this applies to everyone everywhere everytime.
As you know, I'm all for tracking down that ego and exterminating it in the most efficient way possible.
There seems to be some aggression here; lovely anger coming through your guitar.
I'm really liking how you use the loops to build this.
Yeah, really great work here for sure.
