Liner Notes:

Had these minute long instrumentals lying around. Figured if I can add some more music and some lyrics, I might have a decent song.

Lyrics:

Another day
Another prayer that’s spoken
Another chance
To get these chains broken
Ignore the pains that predict my future
Phantom scars that were never sutured

Seize the day may be your catchphrase
But I’m just tryna just to seize the moment
Until the future calls my name
I’ll be searching for way own it

Oh will I find a place where I belong?
Oh will I find a place where I belong?

Another night
To contemplate why
I was placed in the middle this rock
Another dream
For me to scrutinize
Another door for me to unlock

Breakin’ bread with all my demons
Hoping they will accept this truce
Tired of these things that hold me
Will I find a way to break loose?

Oh will I find a place where I belong?
Oh will I find a place where I belong?

The clock on the wall has no numbers
Don’t even know if it’s upside down
Did you ever wonder how it feels
When someone misses you when you’re not around?

Oh will I find a place where I belong?
Oh will I find a place where I belong?

Some haunting lines here, the phantom scars, the whole clock verse. The whole thing has an emotional pull.

i love the way you blend different ingredients into a piece of music in which everything fits so well together . you sing the verses like a reggae singer but dont place an accent on the third beat with the guitar. and that chorus wouldnt be out of place on a soundgarden record...its also appealing the way your voice can get intense without losing its smoothness.

Really lovely track, not jagging your chain, best thing I've heard here for a long while.
