Liner Notes:

I posted these lyrics a month ago but nobody took up the challenge of putting a song together, so I did it myself. I wouldn't have ever considered singing in public if it wasn't for 50/90 - so you know who to blame!
Me and my Strat over a blues rhythm track. I'm trying to get more animation in my dirge like singing style but when you only have my voice to work with it can be very difficult.

Lyrics:

I Don’t See You On The Menu

V1
A table in the corner,
A glass of Premier Cru
A waiter takes my order
But all I want is you

Chorus:
I don’t see you on the menu
Or I’d order two of you
I’d have one as my entree
And the other to take away
But I don’t see you on the menu
And all I really want is you

V2
We would come here together
Share a chocolate fondue
But now you’ve gone forever
I’ll just have some Danish blue

Chorus:
I don’t see you on the menu
Or I’d order two of you
I’d have one as my entree
And the other to take away
But I don’t see you on the menu
And all I really want is you

You have created a genuine blues song. It is all authentic. I like the guitars in particular. However, the bass is also really good.

nicely done, bluesy feeling for sure. My singing suggestion is.. keep doing it! the more you do it the more confident you get in phrasing and naturalness .... especially in the blues, its not about having some mythical 'perfect voice'. a fine blues here, keep on going! Smile
