Moving Too Fast?

Liner Notes:

This song serves as a prequel to "Lydia (You're Not Ready)". Written after, but set before.
My ex told me in my last call to her, "I feel like we weren't friends long enough before this relationship happened. Everything was moving way too fast. Long distance relationships don't really work most of the time". In addition, the relationship was almost exclusively over the internet (hence the line "We haven't met yet").

Lyrics:

Not so long ago, it was me you found
Shining brightly among the crowd
Your feelings for me are so priceless
I'm indebted to you, Your Highness

Chorus
You want to kiss me and hold me tight
Call me baby, everything's alright
You make my life so happy and bright
And you think about me all night

v2
I'm surprised everything is working so well
We haven't met yet, but what the hell
My heart melts when you say my name
You and I know how to play the game

Chorus
You want to kiss me and hold me tight
Call me baby, everything's alright
You make my life so happy and bright
And you think about me all night

Bridge
Only the other day we were just friends
I don't want this love of ours to end
But as the weeks are drifting past
I wonder, are we moving too fast?

Verse
I can't explain the way that I feel
How is this happiness of mine even real?
Oh, I really love seeing you smile
Even though I've only known you a while

You want to kiss me and hold me tight
Say 'Eddy baby, everything's alright'
You make my life so happy and bright
Why don't we spend the night?

I didn't need to find love
Because you found me

Love the piano. Interesting story song. Reminds me of a one-month relationship I had when I was 20. Saw him every day and then nothing. Call it “ghosted” today. Years later he called me when I happened to be at my mother’s house. Cool effects I’m hearing in my headphones. Nice emotive vocals.
