Lyrics:

Im been screaming down the telephone,
To make you understand the things I know
Cause you been playing with fire,
And it will burn down your life,

Dont tell me about your Sunday afternoon,
And the silly things that you need to do,
Cause your heading for a wreck
And you dont see it ahead,

So go and play your soft summer tunes,
Out the window as your driving to,
Find another life to ruin,
Cause you don't see what your doing,

I caught you on the telephone,
Down the wire, into your home,
Cant talk your way out, the seed are sewn,
I caught you on the telephone,

Maybe I dont need another friend,
One who lies and cheat their way instead,
Of playing for real
At least that was the deal,

Maybe im lucky it all came out,
You showed your colour before we drowned,
At least im ready now
Before this wave hits the ground

I caught you on the telephone,
Down the wire, into your home,
Cant talk your way out, the seed are sewn,
I caught you on the telephone,

Cracking wee blues run doubling the vocal melody on this, and your voice suits it really nicely. Love the groove, love the stepping down chords in the chorus with that uber dank chord under "seed are sown". Really nice.

Love that blues riff during the verses as well as the descending chord progression in the chorus, which includes just the right amount of dissonance. Great listen.
