So my daughter and I worked on a lot of pieces yesterday. This is one of them

Lyrics:

Would You
(c) 2020 Sweidel/Cummings

There is no scenario
That ends well for my heart
There has to be a way
This doesn’t fall apart

It gets harder every day
To hide the way I feel
So If I asked for more
Would you make it real?

Do I fight for love
Or do I just forget?
Do I stand my ground or
Live with my regret?
If I said I wanted you
Would you say it too?

I wish I had the words
To make you fall for me
I think I always knew
I was just too blind to see

Do I fight for love
Or do I just forget?
Do I stand my ground or
Live with my regret?
If I said I needed you
Would you say it too?

You and I could be so great
How do I unseal our fate

Do I fight for love
Or do I just forget?
Do I stand my ground or
Live with my regret?
If I said I loved you
Would you say it too?

If I said I loved you
Would you say it too?

A heartfelt portrayal of a mother-daughter relationship, and I like that it shows that sometimes each person in the relationship can have the same questions, desires, needs. So cool that you are writing with your daughter.

Really cool lyrics Deanna. Would you mind if I put some music to these? And would your daughter sing?? (would be much better than my vocals!!)
