Liner Notes:

Song about changing your life for the better when the upswing comes.

Lyrics:

Sometime soon: CAPO 2: BEBEBE

Sometime soon, your gonna change your tune,
Falling behind this new pink moon,
Telling yourself all things true,
Tearing down towers built by you.

Sometime soon, you gonna melt away
And sleep next to the Ox and dray
Under a warm Spring Sun in the afternoon
Feeling it’s pull, reaching right through.

Sometime soon, Sometime soon, Sometime soon,
Sometime soon.

Sometime soon, your gonna make me smile
Your gonna run into that old turnstile
And turn your head to all things new
Every cell will sing
Sometime soon.

Sometime soon, you gonna melt away
And sleep next to the Ox and dray
And turn your head to all things new
Every call will sing
Sometime soon.

Sometime soon, Sometime soon, Sometime soon,
Sometime soon.

Beautifully hypnotic song, gentle, loving and sincere. Very enjoable to listen to. Loving your vocals and guitar playing.

Lovely lyrics and gentle music. Very nice indeed. "Pink Moon" nod to Nick Drake Smile

i really love the sound you achieve in this mix. the lyrics are fulled with a optimism that is not tainted by naivity. i feel the hope in the rhythm.

Interesting tuning - not tried it myself, but I know Nick Drake was a fan and I can hear his influence all through this. The song really benefits from the very atmospheric and intimate recording (and I'm on record - many times - as being an absolute sucker when it comes to spring reverb.)

Incidentally, your comments section on Soundcloud has already been spammed. Which is such a depressingly common event on SC that I don't use it any more.

Enjoyed this.
The rhythmic low notes put the listener in a lull, then the reverby higher plucks make things dream like. That combo is one that really appeals to me in this style.
I also like your vocals here. It's all very subdued and quiet, which suits the contemplative lyrics.

This is gorgeous! Rich, mellow, positive, and a little bit mysterious (love those drifting guitar fills).
An ideal hook, just oozes possibility. Your gentle vocals are great, such a beautiful fit with the musical bed. A really wonderful listen! (I’ve borrowed your alternate tuning for my latest posted song. That’s not one I’ve used before. Thanks!)

I like the chugging rhythm of the guitars and the contemplative lead guitar. The reverb on the guitar is nice. I also really like your voice in this, it's very sedate; reminds me of Lou Reed or Bob Dylan. I also get reminded of Nick Drake's "Pink Moon".
Good message in the lyrics.
