This came quite easily after seeing Kristi's beautiful lyrics, which flowed so well I heard music for them instantly. The guitar parts were fun, and I really enjoyed putting the whole thing together. Thank you for letting me play with your lyrics, Kristi!

Lyrics:

It’s Too Early To Say It’s Too Late

When tomorrow comes
Will my eyes see the sun
I’ve lost my focus
When will inspiration come

With disappointment
Nothing falls into place
I’ve let my heart
Get all caught up in the race

[ch]
But it’s too early to say it’s too late
It’s too bad when we can’t find the good
I know it’s out there somewhere
You just gotta know where to look
It’s too noisy to always hear
It's too hard to let go of fear
But it’s too early to say it’s too late
Yeah, it’s too early to say it’s too late

When next year arrives
I wonder where I’ll be
Oh life comes at us
And the wind will shake the trees

With determination
Excitement finds a home
New avenues
Let the spirit free to roam

[ch]
Cuz it’s too early to say it’s too late
It’s too bad when we can’t find the good
I know it’s out there somewhere
You just gotta know where to look
It’s too noisy to always hear
It's too hard to let go of fear
But it’s too early to say it’s too late
Yeah, it’s too early to say it’s too late

[br]
Every mind sees something different
That’s the beauty of us all
Steady nerves serve us well
When we rise and when we fall

Repeat ch

I like the gentle encouragement that's unified here in the meditative lyrics, the understated vocal, the chords that are just sunny enough. The production is stellar, too. Just a great vibe all around.

These are such great lyrics, "Cuz it’s too early to say it’s too late" is smart and catchy. I love the arrangement, this is a solid pop rock tune. The guitars are great, the harmonies are on point and you did a great job with the bridge. Very nice collaboration!

wacha says it all. this is such a perfect blend of rock, folk, and pop music. pretty harmones built on garage rock chords, clever and relatable lyrics....and a structure that keeps it all balanced and moving sprightly along.

It's a gentle and mellow ride into a more positive plane. Imagine that somewhere in the middle of the desert of a road movie.

Hi Robyn! Hey, this is terrific! It's catchy and also delivers the message in a genuine and thoughtful manner. Love the harmonies, very pretty, and how you deliver some of the words adds a lift to it all. I enjoyed the guitar work too. And in the bridge I really like the "ooohs" in the background there....and the effortless delivery. Thank you for this lovely song!

These lyrics have a great flow on their own, but your arrangement really brings them to life. Totally feel-good, and vocals and guitar are spot-on!

The lead guitar theme is wonderful. The chorus is pure pop wisdom. The use of the antonym pairs to drive home the message works so very well.

Great lyrical hook and the subdued vocal delivery gives the words a big chance to shine. A terrific pop tune.

Fantastic title that drew me in and what a superb song I heard...Robyn ignites Kristi's gorgeous lyrics into a bright flame of mellifluous harmony and arrangement...fabulous collabulus!!
